Assessment Quizzes
Please follow the instructions carefully to complete an assessment and enrol for a group class.
1. Click on the level link below that you intend to enrol for.
2. Complete the quiz in one sitting. A quiz will usually take between a few minutes and up to 30 minutes to complete, depending on the student.
3. IMPORTANT: Before completing one or more of the quizzes below, you must enter the students First Name and the Email address you used to register. If the email address is not the same as the on the form you submitted, we wont be able to complete the assessment.
NOTE: a quiz can only be done once.
Level 1 entry quiz : for those who know how the pieces move and the goal of the game but not much else.
Level 2 entry quiz : for those who know all of the above plus the rules, special moves, check & checkmate and stalemate.
Level 3 entry quiz (login required) : for those who know all of the above plus a have reasonable understanding of Opening Principles.
Level 4 entry quiz : for those who know all of the above plus basic checkmate endings (against a lone king).
Level 5 entry quiz : for those who know all of the above plus a range of tactics (i.e. pins, forks, skewers, etc.)
