Newbies Cup 2021
Date: Mon. 14 June Time: 12 Noon
Format : 7 Rounds @ 10 min. + 5 sec.
Divisions: Open / Under 10 / Under 8
Prizes : Trophies & Medals for both Age & Rating Group divisions (SUBJECT TO SUFFICIENT ENTRIES).
For the less experienced beginners & novice players aged under 14, with a rating less than 700.
This is an ideal first tournament for kids who are still learning but know at least how all the pieces move or for kids who may have been playing a while but have been finding the higher rated players a little too much of a challenge. Division prizes awarded for both, age groups and ranking groups, (subject to sufficient entries) means lots of prizes.
