TERM 1 2025
(Registration form is at the bottom of this page)
A workshop differs from a general lesson in that workshop lessons have a greater portion of hands on practical application of knowledge.
For the serious chess student, one general lesson per week simply isn’t enough for speedy progress.
To fast track improvement, additional training (practice) is essential. Workshops cover practical application of many things which are not usually included in weekly lessons.
Students will be divided into workgroups suitable for their level from Beginner to Advanced.
For those students who wish to train for Tournaments we suggest selecting TRAINING SQUAD classes in the form below.
Training Squad classes are for a higher level of training.
The workshops include many of the following:
Checkmate Patterns & Puzzles
Opening Traps
Tactics & Tactics Exercises
End Game Exercises
Visualisation Exercises
Calculation Exercises
Chess Maze Exercises
Board Vision Exercises
Positional Strengths & Weaknesses
Targeting Weaknesses
Puzzle Training &
Puzzle Challenge Competition with prizes.
